This Big Issues Community is dedicated to those who suffer when men and women are too occupied with pursuing their own happiness to resolve issues that shout for resolution. In particular it is dedicated to:

You are invited to share the Big-Issues.Org community vision and be active on this site. Please join and invite your friends. The community will undoubtedly evolve to reflect the needs of those who use it. At the start this may mean contacting with the administrator to ask questions or nudge certain things to happen - feel free. Please contribute issue content and FAQs to help others, and enjoy the many journeys ahead.

The goals behind Big-Issues.Org are to:

1. Encourage people (anonymous if they like) to share their issues, both large and small
2. Encourage perspective (while having some fun) by allowing user ratings to determine "what is the big issue?"
3. Facilitate constructive discussion and perhaps resolution of these issues
4. Provide an easy reference to relevant groups and information sources where they already exist
5. Provide a good networking site for those who share the same interests (or is that issues), and
6. Openly raise enough revenue to pay costs and support the site's growth (without infringing the above goals)
