This item will guide you through the steps of inviting your Friends to join a Group on the Big-Issues community. It is very simple. Here's how:

1. Log in - if you haven't already joined the community then read Joining this community - and click on the Community menu item.
2. Click on the Groups option that appears when you hold your mouse over the Applications menu item that appears in the centre of the screen.
3. Click on the group that you belong to and want to invite others to join - if you want first to create a new Group then read Create a Group, or if you want first to join a group then read Joining a group.
4. Click on the Invite Friends menu option within the Group details area (NOT the the Friends menu option above the Group name)
   
5. Select which of your existing community friends you would like to invite to this Group - if you want to invite other community members then read Inviting others to be your friends, and if you want to invite others to become community members then read Inviting others to join this community.
6. Write an invitation message in the box provided and then hit the Submit button - it is that simple! The friend will receive your invitation and can easily choose to join the group. Depending on the group's settings joining may either be automatic or may require approval of the group owner.
