This item will guide you through the steps of inviting other Big-Issues community members to be your Friends. It is simple. Here's how:

1. Log in - if you haven't already joined the community then read Joining the community and click on the Community menu option.
3. Click on the Search option that appears when you hold your mouse over the Friends item in the Community sub menu that appears in the central part of the page - (NOT the Invite Friends option as this is used to invite non-Community members to join the Big-Issues community).
4. Enter a search item to help you find the community member you are trying to add as a friend and then press the Search button.
   
5. Click on the Add as Friend link showing against the search result for the community member you wish to add as a Friend
6. Write an invitation message in the pop-up box provided and then hit the Add Friend button - this will send this message to the member as an invitation for him or her to accept your friend invitation.
7. In the meantime this request will appear in your Request Sent list - it is that simple!
